Riverina Boarding Kennels and Cattery

Boarding

At Riverina Boarding Kennels & Cattery, we understand that every pet is unique, with their own personality, preferences, and needs. That’s why we provide individualised care to ensure that each of our furry guests receives the attention and treatment they deserve.

We know that some pets require specialised diets for their health and well-being. If your pet is on a prescription diet or eats a specific type of food that we do not stock, we encourage you to bring it with you. We do not charge extra for this service, as we believe that your pet’s health and happiness are our top priorities. Our experienced staff will ensure that your pet receives the proper diet and care during their stay with us, giving you peace of mind while you’re away.

Doggy stays

When you board your furry friend with us, they will have their own private indoor area complete with a comfortable hammock, bedding, and blankets for larger dogs, and cosy beds for smaller ones. We take pride in providing freshly laundered bedding, which includes fluffy blankets, soft mattresses, and cosy beds that are perfect for snuggling.

To ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests, we do not allow outside bedding at this time. However, rest assured that we have an abundance of clean and comfortable bedding for your pet.

Each dog has access to their own private outdoor area via a convenient doggy door that remains open all day. At night, the door is closed to keep them warm or cool, depending on the weather. For your pet’s comfort, our kennels are fully heated during colder weather and air-conditioned during warmer times.

Our private areas have direct access to a large play area where dogs can exercise, socialize, and have fun. We are happy to administer medications to your pet during their stay with us. Administering medications including injectables, supplements and administering eye or ear medication will incur a fee of $5 per day.

We want your pet to feel at home during their stay with us, and we strive to provide the highest quality care and comfort. Contact us today to learn more about our boarding services for dogs.

Furry felines

Our feline guests enjoy their own private, secure, and multi-level suites, which offer plenty of natural light and a window for them to observe the outside world. Each suite is equipped with a comfortable pillow, cozy blankets, toys, and a hiding bed to make even the most timid cats feel at home.

During the cooler months, our suites are kept toasty warm, while in the summer, they are cooled with ducted air conditioning to ensure your furry friends are comfortable year-round.

Vaccinations

At Riverina Boarding Kennels & Cattery, the health and safety of all our guests is of utmost importance. To ensure the well-being of your pets and those of our other guests, we require all pets to be up-to-date on their vaccinations before their stay with us.

For puppies and kittens, we require that they receive their three initial vaccinations at least two weeks prior to boarding.

For adult dogs, we require that they have completed their C5 vaccinations on or before their due date. If their vaccinations are out of date or incomplete, they must receive a booster at least two weeks prior to boarding.

For adult cats, we require that they have completed their F3 vaccinations on or before their due date. If their vaccinations are overdue by 1-7 weeks, please contact us and we will let you know the wait time required in order to board with us. If their vaccinations are overdue by 8 weeks or more, cats must receive an F3 vaccination, followed by a booster vaccination 3-4 weeks later, at least one week prior to boarding.

We kindly ask that you provide us with proof of your pet’s vaccinations prior to their stay with us. This ensures the safety and well-being of all our guests and helps us maintain our high standards of care.
