Riverina Boarding Kennels and Cattery

The importance of maintaining your pet’s vaccination status

We hope this news item finds you and your furry friend in good health. We wanted to remind you of the importance of maintaining your pet’s vaccination status. As of late, we have had several clients who have let their pets’ vaccinations lapse. We remind owners during the booking process, but we cannot board animals when their vaccination has lapsed.

Please note that it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that their pet’s vaccinations are up-to-date. We understand that life can get busy, but keeping your pet’s vaccinations current is essential to their health and well-being.

For your reference, here’s a brief summary of the C5 vaccination for dogs and F3 vaccination for cats:

    • C5 vaccination for dogs: This vaccine protects against five diseases: distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza, and Bordetella bronchiseptica (kennel cough). It is recommended for all dogs, especially those that are frequently boarded or come into contact with other dogs.
    • F3 vaccination for cats: This vaccine protects against three diseases: feline herpesvirus, feline calicivirus, and feline panleukopenia (enteritis). It is recommended for all cats, especially those that are frequently boarded or come into contact with other cats.

If you have any questions or concerns about your pet’s vaccination status, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re here to help.

Thank you for choosing our boarding kennel for your pet’s needs.
